Aero Trades features ultra-high pressure waterjet cutting, employing today’s most advanced technology, with little or no setup required. The basic technology is both simple and complex. When water is pressurized up to 60,000 PSI, and forced through a tiny orifice, it will cut into a variety of materials including food, paper and rubber. When small amounts of abrasive particles (garnet) are mixed into the jet stream, the resulting abrasive waterjet will cut virtually any material under the nozzle, such as metal, stone, glass and composites.

Our abrasive waterjet cutting system is incredibly effective. It will cut metallic or non-metallic materials of virtually any thickness without distortion or degradation of the material, such as in laser cutting. Waterjet cutting is a cold cutting process, where there is no thermal damage to the cut edges, referred to as the “heat affected zone”.

We will cut complex shapes and contours, all controlled by high end computers and software with nesting capabilities that provide extreme material utilization resulting in greater savings.
